Our founder, Terry Montero, has been with Arise since 1998. She began as a CSP working from her home office and soon after became a certified instructor. Not only does she bring the experience of having serviced calls for numerous Arise clients over the years, she has led certification courses for over a dozen different clients and continues to do so.
A background check is required on each and every call center company and their agent(s) registering to use the Arise platform. The background check report is initiated by you and conducted by an independent third-party background search company. All background checks are conducted in accordance with federal and state law.
A background check free of disqualifying criminal history and confirmation of your name and Social Security Number is required for every agent registering to use the Arise platform. Arise does not do business with any call center or their agents that have been convicted of or pled guilty to any felony or certain misdemeanor charges; including but not limited to theft, fraud, identity theft, or other similar violations. Should any background check report reveal a disqualifying information, you will not be permitted to continue registration to use the Arise platform.
The background check starts when you place your order with the third-party background search company. This report will include a national criminal record report and a Social Security Number verification report (which is used to validate the given SSN, name, and address). The fee for this report is $7.95, charged by and paid directly to the third-party background check vendor (credit and debit cards displaying the Visa, MasterCard, and American Express logos are accepted).
Arise pays all IBOs, such as The Virtual Money Makers, twice monthly on approximately the 7th and 22nd of each month. You will be paid approximately 2 business days later, , via your preference of direct deposit or mailed check. A payment calendar is provided indicating the approximate direct deposit dates for the year.

Some clients require an analog or digital landline phone line, with no features, for servicing Arise client calls. This is available from your phone company or cable provider. Services using MagicJack, Skype, Google Voice, or Ooma are NOT supported.

The Arise service fee is charged for the infrastructure that Arise provides, including the Arise 24-Hour Client Technical Support Help Desk and StarMatic® scheduling system. The Arise semi-monthly service fee is currently $19.75 and is deducted twice a month from your service fees. No CSP is charged the fee until the first invoice period after it begins providing customer interaction services to its first client. The Virtual Money Makers' $40 fee already includes the Arise network fee. No additional fees are deducted from your compensation.
Yes, you certainly can! As an independent contractor you have the freedom to work for other companies while you provide services to Arise Clients. However, they do expect all CSPs to honor their scheduled commitments to their clients and meet all performance standards.
Once you have completed the admissions process, your next step will be to enroll in a client certification course of your choice. Client courses may take between two to eight weeks depending on the client selected. Upon certification, you begin to service your new client immediately.
Arise and The Virtual Money Makers do not compensate for the time spent in client certification courses, as it is considered that the knowledge obtained while attending the certification course will contribute in making your business successful.
Arise clients offer a wide variety of programs that you can certify for. Most client opportunities are for servicing calls. However, occasionally a client may offer an opportunity to service email, chat or provide technical support to our clients.
The inbound or outbound call types may include any or a combination of the following: sales, customer service, technical support and lead generation.

As a corporation, we must cover the costs of managing our business. The nominal fee allows us to provide direct deposit services for your compensation, provide guidance and assistance with your client certification courses, and frees you from the filing and financial responsibilities of having your own corporation.
